Colombian archaeologists have found three tombs more than 2,000 years old, belonging to the period known as «Incised Brown»In a deposit in Itagüí, in the northeast of the department of Antioquia.

«We recovered two urns, one of them serving as a lid for the other, and in the other we probably have cremated human bone remains«Explained the archaeologist Juan Pablo Diez.

Ten added that "From the first burial found, two other tombs and offerings have been found that were buried around it as a ritual process, which allows us to make the first conclusions that we are in front of a pre-Hispanic burial site«.

These graves made by drilling a hole in the ground one or two meters deep where the urn was deposited, they were «sealed with a carved stone slab, a product of the same geological formations in the area«.

All the objects found next to the remains will be studied in depth to date them with precision, and to start the disclosure process.
