A team of archaeologists has found in southern Greece, near the city of Kiveri, several tombs dating back to that time Mycenaean, between 1600-1100 BC.

The legend of kiveri, ancient Apovathmi, tells that it was founded in 1600 BC. by the first Doric invaders of the Peloponnese. Danaos, the founder of the city of Argos, one of the most prominent Mycenaean cities in the entire region, would have anchored in this small port city.

In this area several Mycenaean tombs, remains of a settlement and a temple of Poseidon, which will be restored with the aim of making them accessible to the general public.

After studying History at the University and after many previous tests, Red Historia was born, a project that emerged as a means of dissemination where you can find the most important news of archeology, history and humanities, as well as articles of interest, curiosities and much more. In short, a meeting point for everyone where they can share information and continue learning.
